Individual Learning Space

Just as we have preferences for our working conditions, we all have an individual learning space. That is the conditions that maximise our own learning. Things to consider include: lighting, noise, sensory aspects, physical aspects, seating, time allocation, types of tasks etc.

There are some excellent surveys available that help individuals think about their own learning habits. Handy Hint #4: Here is an online survey I found that might just help with thinking about individual learning spaces. http://www.edutopia.org/multiple-intelligences-learning-styles-quiz

One way to communicate your individual learning space preferences is to devise a personal taxonomy.

Or you could take a photo of the places you learn, in a week for instance, and analyse your favourite spaces.
